Auriculotherapy

​Auriculotherapy is the stimulation of acupuncture points on the external ear. These points correspond to specific areas of the body. Auriculotherapy can serve both as a way to diagnose and also to treat.

It has proven to be an efficient method of treating many kinds of conditions including pain and stress. Among these are the use of "5 needle protocol" in treating addiction. Needle stimulation of the ear points travel through a specific part of the brain called the diencephalon to the corresponding parts of the body. This is especially important when the area of concern cannot be needled directly.
